What is Acnetic?
Acnetic is an AI-powered skincare app for iPhone that analyzes your skin from a selfie, helps you build a personalized skincare routine, analyzes skincare products and ingredients, and tracks your skin progress over time.
What is an AI skincare app?
An AI skincare app uses artificial intelligence to analyze your skin, personalize your routine and track your results. Acnetic is one example: a selfie scan becomes a skin report, routines are built around the products you own, and progress photos show what actually works.
Can AI analyze my skin from a photo?
Yes, within limits. Computer vision can estimate visible characteristics like skin age, overall condition and acne concerns from a selfie. It cannot see below the surface or diagnose conditions, and results depend on lighting and photo quality.
How does AI skin analysis work?
You take an unfiltered selfie in good light. Computer vision models estimate visible skin characteristics and map concerns like blackheads, whiteheads or papules, turning the photo into a structured skin report. Repeat scans over time show trends instead of snapshots.
Can AI create a skincare routine?
Yes. Acnetic builds personalized morning and evening routines from your skin analysis and the products you scan, including ingredient compatibility checks so clashing actives are split across the day.
Can AI analyze skincare ingredients?
Yes. Scan a product’s label and Acnetic identifies its active ingredients, explains what they do, and checks compatibility with the rest of your routine.
Can AI tell me which skincare products to use?
It can suggest what fits your skin and flag conflicts between products you already own. It cannot predict your individual reaction to a product, so patch testing new products is still wise.
Can AI track changes in my skin?
Yes. Acnetic tracks skin progress with before/after photos, daily logs and repeat AI analyses, so you see trends instead of guessing whether a routine works.
Can AI help with acne?
It helps you understand and manage acne-prone skin: mapping breakouts by type, spotting trigger patterns and keeping your routine consistent. It cannot treat or diagnose acne. For moderate to severe acne, see a dermatologist.
Is AI skin analysis accurate?
Treat it as a useful estimate of visible characteristics, not a medical measurement. Lighting, camera quality and skin preparation all affect a single scan. Trends from consistent, repeatable scans are far more reliable than any one result.
Can Acnetic replace a dermatologist?
No. Acnetic is a consumer skincare app, not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. For persistent, painful or sudden skin problems, consult a healthcare professional.
Is Acnetic free?
Your first skin scan is free, no account needed. Personalized routines and daily tracking are part of the subscription.
Is Acnetic available on Android?
